Matcha Nude Partners with Bounty & Soul

 

🍏 Bounty & Soul is a community-based non-profit dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to fresh produce and valuable wellness education. Learn more about how this organization plays a pivotal role in fostering a healthier, happier community on their website. 

Over the past two years they have:

 Contributed over $83,000 in farm purchases, increasing local farm viability
 Distributed over 115 TONS of local food to those experiencing food insecurity
 Provided over 40,376 seedlings to local farmers
 Contributed 7,500 hours of service learning volunteer hours to local farm operations

Our Partnership

🌿 Community Volunteering: At least 4x a year, Matcha Nude staff and volunteers from the North Carolina community come together with Bounty & Soul. We volunteer through farmers market-style produce distribution, food sorting, wellness education and wherever else we are needed. If you are interested in joining, please reach out.

The Why Behind This

Times throughout Matcha Nude owner Samm's childhood, she and her family found themselves relying on public aid, including assistance with essential resources like food. Enduring various health challenges during this period, Samm gradually recognized the pivotal role that wellness played in her life. Fresh fruits and vegetables were often beyond reach for Samm and her family.

Recognizing the importance of holistic well-being, Bounty & Soul not only ensures families have access to nutritious foods but also takes a comprehensive approach by imparting education on produce, sharing recipes, offering valuable tips on food storage, and so much more.

Upon relocating to Asheville, Samm discovered the impactful work of Bounty & Soul and promptly immersed herself in volunteering with the organization. The inception of Matcha Nude fueled her desire to forge a meaningful partnership with Bounty & Soul, a vision that has now blossomed into reality. This collaboration embodies the spirit of community giveback, creating a synergy between Matcha Nude and Bounty & Soul to contribute to the well-being of individuals and families alike.
